Our Story~ We are a small family owned kennel located in Northern California. Bulleit Proof Frenchies is owned by 2 sisters who have always had a passion and love for French Bulldogs.
Tiffany has worked in the Veterinary Field for 15+ years. She has specialized in Canine Reproduction for 11 of those years and has had the privilege of helping countless clients achieve their desired litters. Her sister Chelsea has owned and ran her own succesful business along with her husband for the last 16+ years. In 2021 they decided it was finally time to combine their skills and start working towards their goal of breeding quality French Bulldogs.
Tiffany owns and cares for the males in her own home, and Chelsea owns and cares for the females in her own home. This has made it possible for our Frenchies to be truly a part of our families, and for us to give each of our dogs the love and attention they all deserve.
All of our French Bull Dogs in our program are AKC registered and DNA tested.
Our goal is to produce healthy well behaved dogs, with great structure, and desirable coat colors.
Our Frenchies are a part of our family, so that means our families are a part of the entire whelping process from day 1. We can guarantee that your puppy will be well socialized around young children, teenagers, and adults.
Tula & Boba, the ones that started it all!
Adoption Process
French Bulldogs are a unique dog, they require a lot of love and attention and they can't just be left outside in extreme weather. They tend to have food allergies and require special diets. They really are like adding another child to your house with the time and money it takes to care for these guys. That being said, when you research French Bulldogs, some words used to describe them are: Bright, Playful, Easygoing, Affectionate, Sociable, Lively, Keen, Alert, Athletic, and Patient French Bulldogs are all of the things listed above and more. If you decide they are the right breed for you, keep on reading...
At this time, we are not accepting deposits before our litters are born, we know many breeders accept deposits, however we feel it's best to wait until we actually have puppies on the ground before taking deposits.
Once our puppies are born, we will post pictures and updates of them weekly as they begin to grow. We know eye color, markings, size, structure, and coat color can change a lot as they begin to grow. Once the puppies reach 4 weeks of age, we will begin posting the available puppies.
We want you to feel 100% happy with your decision, so we will do the best we can to answer all of your questions and help you in the decision to pick the right Frenchie for your family. For the puppies health and safety, we wont allow in person visits with them before they are 8 weeks old. We will however FaceTime you so you can see the puppies in real time and get a feel for their personalities.
Once you have picked the Frenchie for your family, we require a non refundable deposit of $500 to be paid to reserve your puppy. The deposit can be paid via Paypal, Zelle, or Venmo. Once a deposit is made, the puppy Is yours to take home once he/she is 8 weeks of age! At that time you will be required to pay the remaining balance before we will release your puppy to you.
**Short Term Payment Plans** We require a down payment of $1,000 to be made at the time you reserve your puppy, and regular payments of $500 to be made once weekly until you can arrange to pickup your puppy and pay the remaining balance owed. If you are needing to have us hold onto your puppy past the age of 9 weeks, we will have to charge a boarding fee of $25/day to cover our expenses. If you have a unique circumstance and need an extended payment plan, email us and we will see what we can work out for you.
Your puppy will have been thoroughly checked out by a Veterinarian, dewormed, and have their first set of shots done. We will also provide a dog bed that has their Mom's smell on it to help your new puppy transition in their new home.
We are located in Grass Valley, California. We will drive the puppy within a 40 mile radius of Grass Valley for no additional fees. If you are not local and require us to travel for the puppy to be delivered, there will be additional travel fees applied which we will agree upon and discuss with you.
If you require the puppy to be flown, we will either fly the puppy ourselves or facilitate the services of a flight nanny, depending on the timing and circumstances for the delivery to be made. Additional fees will of course be applied on top of the price of the puppy for the additional travel fees.
Why Are French Bulldogs so expensive?
The Simple Answer is because it is expensive to breed and raise French bulldogs. French Bulldogs have to be bred via artificial insemination, they can not breed naturally.
Due to their structure, a c-section is required for the puppies to be born. So just to conceive and deliver the puppies, the costs are already extremely high.
After the puppies are born, we have to spend the first few weeks watching them around the clock to be sure the puppies do no aspirate while nursing, that the mama dog doesn't accidentally suffocate a puppy, and that everyone is thriving and not needing to be bottle fed or tube fed. Which means many, many sleepless nights... and everything else has to come to a screeching halt because these puppies take top priority.
The amount of work that goes into caring for a litter is honestly priceless. We decided to start up this program because we love the breed and feel they are worth every penny & sleepless night. We hope this helps give you a little insight into the reason behind our pricing and we hope you decide adding a French Bulldog to your family is worth the cost as well.
